BC WEBSIGHT
The first BC.websight that opened in 1999 at the corner of Anonas & Molave Sts. in Cubao Q.C, was among the first internet shops to introduce internet surfing and network gaming. The outlet became so popular among surfers and gamers and started attracting regulars from other internet shops around the vicinity. One casualty of bc.websight’s growing popularity was its keenest competitor, which had to close its branch at nearby Aurora Boulevard, paving the way for bc.websight’s expansion In the same street corner giving way to Anonas 2 outlet and Anonas 3 just upstairs in the same building.
Driven by the success of the Anonas 1 outlet, owner Benjamin Co, from whose initials (as well as wife’s Babylyn and kid’s Brandon, Bernice, and Brianna) the business was named, opened another outlet at Murphy, also in Quezon City. When the opportunity to set up an internet shop inside a mall presented itself, Mr. Co grabbed the chance and transferred its Murphy operations inside Farmer’s Plaza at the Araneta Center in Cubao. Convinced that there’s an increasing demand for internet shops among mall-goers, he opened another facility inside the SM San Lazaro branch in Manila
